The extraordinary Sky over La Palma offers undoubtly one of the best conditions to photograph milky way center from northern hemisphere.
Photographer Darek Orlicz hiked to the top of volcano caldera to acquire data from the best possible place at the altitude of 2400m where atmosphere affects less beuty of the Cosmos. He spent full night to capture data for the panorama enriched with narrowband filter to reveal details of hydrogen emission nebulas like the most prominent sh2-27.
