This complex complex of molecular clouds spreading over the constellations of Scorpio and Ophiuchus is considered by many astrophotographers to be the most photogenic region in the entire celestial sphere.

It is here that we can observe basically all the naturally occurring colors in space, from red glowing hydrogen emission nebulae, through blue and orange reflection nebulae reflecting the light of nearby stars, to dark brown nebulae, visible only because they obscure the light of the stars further away distances. The photo was taken in the desert of Namibia under zero light pollution conditions. The original size of the photo is close to 150 megapixels.

Author of the photo: Bartosz Wojczyński. Astronomy lover with over ten years of experience in the field of astrophotography. Winner of many prestigious awards, incl. Astrobin Image of the Day and NASA APOD (Astronomy Picture of the Day). Organizer of astrophotographic expeditions to the darkest places on our planet. Bartosz appreciates versatility and diversity – his photographic output includes both deep sky photos, extreme close-ups of the moon, and astroscapes that show the beauty of outer space in a wide field. On a daily basis he works as a specialist in image processing and 3D graphics.

We purchased 4 large fine art prints and are very happy with the quality of the prints.... impressive detail and color.
Great service, and the owner quickly responded to questions (even over the weekend). He also thought along with us, offering custom print sizing.
