    About the author: Karol Wójcicki. Passionate of the night sky, photographer, astronomy promoter, science journalist, TV presenter. Creator of the largest astronomical fanpage in Poland "Z głową w gwiazdach" on Facebook. He travels the world in search of the most beautiful astronomical phenomenas such as total solar eclipses or aurora borealis. He spends at least one night a month under the darkest skies of Poland in the Bieszczady Mountains, photographing the Milky Way and other parts of the sky. A frequent guest on TV and radio programs. He hosted popular science programs on Discovery Science and TVN Turbo. In 2008-2016 he was associated with the Copernicus Science Center in Warsaw.
