Experience the awe-inspiring beauty of Robert Gendler's "Spiral Galaxy in Canes Venatici (M106)"

This exquisite multi-frame mosaic image of Messier 106 (M106) was created using data from the Hubble Legacy Archive, which serves as a repository for Hubble Space Telescope observations.

The image integrates Hubble's WFC3, ACS, and WFPC2 data of the galaxy's nucleus and inner spiral arms with ground-based red-green-blue images captured by renowned astrophotographers Robert Gendler and Jay GaBany. Using their 12.5-inch and 20-inch telescopes located in the dark, remote sites of New Mexico, they have produced an extraordinary view of the galaxy.

M106, located in the constellation Canes Venatici, is beautifully rendered in this combined image, showcasing its vibrant spiral arms, glowing core, and stellar formations.

The processing work by Gendler seamlessly blends the Hubble and ground-based images, creating a stunningly detailed and vibrant portrayal of this magnificent galaxy.

Perfect for astronomy lovers, cosmic art enthusiasts, and those captivated by the wonders of the universe, this print brings the grandeur of M106 into your space
