Explore the celestial beauty of "The Statue of Liberty (NGC 3576)" by Adam Jesionkiewicz

NGC 3576 is a region of glowing gas in the Sagittarius arm of the Milky Way, located about 9,000 light-years from Earth, just a few thousand light years away from Eta Carinae.

It is not visible from my (and probably neither from your) northern sky (unfortunately).

Here is a statue – not necessarily the Statue of Liberty, because it is difficult to say who and why built it

This is by far the most difficult picture I have ever done. The problem was that too few photons were registered in the oxygen and sulfur spectra lines. Heavy processing allowed me to extract these photons nonetheless, and thus my next complete photo was created.

  • Exposure: 4 hours
  • Location: South Africa

Ideal for astronomy enthusiasts, art lovers, and stargazers, this print brings the awe-inspiring wonders of the universe into your home or office. Elevate your décor with "The Statue of Liberty (NGC 3576)" and let this magnificent piece inspire curiosity and admiration for the cosmos.
