Your trust means the Universe to us! 🚀

Most of our prints are produced directly in our studio in Europe, where we oversee the entire process — from color calibration and paper selection to final quality control. This allows us to maintain full control over quality and ensure that every print meets the level of detail, sharpness, and color accuracy that space imagery deserves.

Each print is carefully checked before it leaves our studio, so you receive a piece crafted with the care and attention of a small, specialized studio. In some cases, for certain destinations, prints may be produced through a carefully selected premium print network.

Customers outside the EU may be charged additional taxes and duties. Information about any payments will be provided by the company delivering the package.

The first photograph of Earth setting behind the Moon, taken by humans on the far side.

April 6, 2026. During the lunar flyby, the Artemis II crew watched Earth slowly dip below the Moon's horizon as Orion passed over the far side. For about 40 minutes, all communication with mission control went silent. No signal, no downlink, just four people further from home than any human has ever been, 252,756 miles from Earth, breaking Apollo 13's record.

From this vantage point, roughly 21% of the Moon's far side was illuminated by the Sun. The rest fell into deep shadow. Earth, still bright, sinks behind the lunar limb in a moment not witnessed by human eyes since the Apollo program in 1968.

We believe this is the Earthrise of our generation. In December 1968, Bill Anders photographed Earth rising over the lunar horizon from Apollo 8 and changed how humanity saw itself. This image does the same thing, only in reverse. Earth disappearing. Getting smaller. A thin, bright arc of atmosphere separating everything we know from everything we don't. It's the kind of photograph that makes you stop and realize how small, how fragile, and how alone this planet really is in the dark.

Everyone should have this on their wall.

This image retains its original framing as captured aboard Orion. The visible grain is inherent to the conditions of deep space photography at extreme distance. We keep it as is. It's part of what makes this real.

    Our Founder

    Meet Jesion

I started Astrography because I couldn't stop looking up. For nearly 30 years I've been chasing dark skies around the world, photographing what most people never get to see with their own eyes. Along the way I built an in-house production studio so I could control every detail from file to print. Today Astrography is a home for anyone who cares about space: real mission photography, observatory imagery from Hubble and JWST, original charts and blueprints, all made to end up on your wall.
