This captivating artwork not only adds a touch of cosmic beauty to your decor but also invites you to explore the mysteries of star formation in our universe.

Unveiling Stellar Birthplaces

The Serpens Nebula, located approximately 1,300 light-years from Earth, is a vibrant region teeming with newly forming stars, some of which are around 100,000 years old.

In this remarkable image, astronomers have identified a grouping of aligned protostellar outflows, represented by bright clumpy streaks in red. These jets are shockwaves created when stellar jets collide with surrounding gas and dust, illuminating the dynamic processes occurring in this stellar nursery.

Intriguing Features of the Nebula

  • Bat Shadow: At the center of the image lies the fascinating “Bat Shadow,” a feature named for its resemblance to a bat's wing. This shadow was first observed in 2020 by NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope and represents a star's planet-forming disk.
  • Eye-Shaped Crevice: To the right of the Bat Shadow is an eye-shaped crevice that appears as if a star is bursting through. However, this optical illusion may simply be layers of gas with varying densities, reminiscent of the iconic Pillars of Creation.
  • Dark Patch: Adjacent to the eye-shaped feature is an extremely dark patch where gas and dust are so dense that no near-infrared light can penetrate, creating a striking contrast against the vibrant colors surrounding it.

Beautiful print

I bought this as a Christmas present for my son, as he loves all things 'outer space' The print quality is outstanding. It almost looks 3 dimensional, very pleased with it. And if he wants any others in the future, it'll save nd trying to think of something different.
Just need to get a nice frame for it. Quick delivery too.

Questions, answered

Anything else — support@astrography.com, answered the same day.

Is this a real photograph?

Yes. Every image is original photography — NASA, ESA, Hubble and JWST archives, observatory data, or Adam’s own telescopes — faithfully remastered in our studio. Any visible grain is inherent to deep-space photography at extreme distance. We keep it, because it’s part of what makes the image real.

How long does delivery to Poland take?

Every print is made to order in 2–4 business days, then delivered in 3–5 more. Typical door-to-door time: 2–4 business days, fully tracked.

Will I pay customs, duties, or import fees?

No. Shipping is shown and paid at checkout, and after that there are no surprise charges — no customs, duties, or carrier fees on delivery.

Should I choose Poster or Fine Art?

Poster (semi-gloss) is our best-value option with vivid contrast and a subtle sheen. Fine Art (matte) is museum-grade cotton paper with archival pigment inks rated for 100+ years and zero glare — the finish we recommend for space imagery and the one we hang in our own studio.

Is a frame included?

No — your print arrives rolled in a rigid protective tube. All sizes match standard frames, so any off-the-shelf frame fits.

What if it arrives damaged?

We replace damaged or misprinted prints free of charge, no return shipping required.

Can I return it?

Yes — you have 30 days. Hang it, live with it, decide slowly. If it doesn’t make the wall better, send it back for a full refund, no questions asked.
