    Most of our prints are produced directly in our studio in Europe, where we oversee the entire process — from color calibration and paper selection to final quality control. This allows us to maintain full control over quality and ensure that every print meets the level of detail, sharpness, and color accuracy that space imagery deserves.

    Each print is carefully checked before it leaves our studio, so you receive a piece crafted with the care and attention of a small, specialized studio. In some cases, for certain destinations, prints may be produced through a carefully selected premium print network.

    Customers outside the EU may be charged additional taxes and duties. Information about any payments will be provided by the company delivering the package.

    A psychologist and educator by profession, has been engaged in astrophotography since 2020, combining science, art, and travel. She has photographed, among others, the Milky Way in Europe and Hawaii, the aurora borealis in Norway and Iceland, a total solar eclipse in the USA, and southern sky objects in Namibia.

    She develops projects, publishes her photographs in astronomical magazines, and conducts workshops and lectures. Her work has been distinguished twice within NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) project (2021 and 2025).

    The image presents the band of the Milky Way rising above the snow-covered peaks of the Tatra Mountains, as seen from the Polish side. The visible portion of the galactic center includes regions rich in interstellar dust and numerous emission nebulae.

    Framing and Composition Context

    The frame was composed in a horizontal orientation to include both the mountain horizon and the central section of the Milky Way. The image was created as a mosaic, allowing for a wider field of view and natural landscape proportions. 

    Image Capture Process

    The photograph was made by combining multiple exposures of the sky and the foreground, captured with a fixed focal length lens. Separate exposure times were used for the sky and the landscape, then merged during post-processing to achieve a balanced brightness across the frame.

    Location and Observing Conditions

    The image was taken in Łapszanka, southern Poland, in April 2021. Conditions were stable, with low humidity and good atmospheric transparency. Snow covering the valleys reflected ambient light, allowing proper foreground illumination without the need for artificial lighting.
