Immerse yourself in the splendor of Robert Gendler's "The Great Nebula in Orion (M42)" print
This high-resolution mosaic/composite of the Orion Nebula (M42) captures the stunning detail and vibrant colors of one of the most famous and spectacular star-forming regions in the night sky.
Created with approximately 90 hours of cumulative exposure, the image was acquired at the Nighthawk Observatory using a 20-inch and 12.5-inch RC Carbon Truss Ritchey-Chrétien telescope with an RCOS Field Flattener/Corrector. The data was collected remotely using advanced imaging software (CCDAutoPilot2) and processed with the Software Bisque Paramount ME and SBIG STL-11000XM camera.
The Orion Nebula, a vast interstellar cloud of gas and dust located in the constellation Orion, is beautifully rendered in this print. The intricate structures and radiant hues of pink, blue, and purple highlight the dynamic processes of star formation, making this piece a captivating addition to any collection.
Ideal for astronomy enthusiasts, cosmic art lovers, and those who appreciate the wonders of the universe, this print brings the awe-inspiring beauty of the Orion Nebula into your home, office, or education and creative space
