Your trust means the Universe to us! 🚀

Most of our prints are produced directly in our studio in Europe, where we oversee the entire process — from color calibration and paper selection to final quality control. This allows us to maintain full control over quality and ensure that every print meets the level of detail, sharpness, and color accuracy that space imagery deserves.

Each print is carefully checked before it leaves our studio, so you receive a piece crafted with the care and attention of a small, specialized studio. In some cases, for certain destinations, prints may be produced through a carefully selected premium print network.

Customers outside the EU may be charged additional taxes and duties. Information about any payments will be provided by the company delivering the package.

A psychologist and educator by profession, has been engaged in astrophotography since 2020, combining science, art, and travel. She has photographed, among others, the Milky Way in Europe and Hawaii, the aurora borealis in Norway and Iceland, a total solar eclipse in the USA, and southern sky objects in Namibia.

She develops projects, publishes her photographs in astronomical magazines, and conducts workshops and lectures. Her work has been distinguished twice within NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) project (2021 and 2025).

The image presents a section of the summer Milky Way rising above the Dolomite mountain range in northern Italy. At the center of the composition lies the bright galactic core, rich in dust structures and hydrogen emission regions that give it a distinctly textured appearance. The foreground shows a valley at the foot of the mountains, featuring rocky terrain and a fragment of a mountain lake

    Framing and Composition Context

The composition was designed to position the Milky Way vertically, ascending above the mountain horizon. The natural terrain — rocks and valley — provides balance to the dynamic vertical structure of the galactic plane. The frame has a documentary and aesthetic character, illustrating the relationship between the Dolomites landscape and the summer night sky of southern Europe.

    Image Capture Process

The photograph was taken during a summer astrophotography trip to the Dolomites. It combines separate exposures for the sky and foreground, captured with different parameters from the same location. The use of an Hα filter made it possible to reveal subtle emission regions within the central Milky Way that are normally invisible in visible light.

    Location and Observing Conditions

The image was captured at the base of the Dolomite range, near a mountain lake situated at a lower elevation. Observing conditions were stable, with good atmospheric transparency and limited light pollution (Bortle class 3–4). Nighttime temperatures were moderate, allowing for extended imaging sessions without the need for additional optics heating.
