Gaze into the cosmos with Bogdan Jarzyna's stunning "Sunflower Galaxy (M63)"

Also known as the Sunflower Galaxy, Messier 63 (M63) is a spectacular spiral galaxy located in the constellation Canes Venatici. Alongside M51, M94, and M106, it is one of the four Messier galaxies found in this constellation.

M63, just slightly fainter than the more famous Whirlpool Galaxy (M51), shines with its own unique brilliance. Gravitationally bound to M51 and at least six smaller galaxies, M63 forms part of the M51 Group of galaxies.

This beautiful image captures the intricate details of M63's spiral arms, star-forming regions, and the vast array of stars surrounding it. The Sunflower Galaxy is best viewed from the Northern Hemisphere during the months of March, April, or May.

Perfect for passionate stargazers, astronomy lovers, and those who appreciate the wonders of the universe, this print will add a celestial touch to any home, office, or educational setting.

Astrophotography equipment serves as a time machine, bringing us closer to the remote objects of the deep cosmos. It's an inspiring pursuit for both the body and mind, well worth the effort involved. Bogdan Jarzyna, a Polish astrophotographer based in Cracow, has spent the last 15 years honing his skills in astrophotography. He has experimented with various optics, focal lengths, and apertures, and has embarked on astro travels to distant locations like Namibia. Currently, Bogdan's preferred setup comprises a TEC140 refractor, a QHY695A camera, and a Paramount MyT mount.
