Barnard's Loop by Bartosz Wojczynski
Barnard's Loop is large, arch-like nebula positioned in the constellation of Orion, created by a violent supernova explosion from around two million years ago. This cloud of active hydrogen surrounds many other famous objects, such as the Flame and Horsehead nebulae visible in the top right area of this photograph.
