Ghost Nebula by Adam Jesionkiewicz
The Ghost Nebula, known as Sh2-136 or VdB 141, is a reflection nebula with striking anthropomorphic shapes. Located in the Cepheus constellation, it lies about 1,500 light-years from Earth. At its center, the prominent Bok globule CB230 has a diameter of 2 light years. The nebula's brown color results from the emission of nearby young stars.
