Does Marcin think of himself as a photographer? Maybe a little. For a while now.

But more than that, he’s someone who looks for things most people miss. Not necessarily the rarest things — just the ones we tend to overlook. Whether it’s a tiny detail on a beetle’s eye or a whole galaxy floating quietly in deep space, he sees stories in them. And once you notice them, you can’t look away.

Sometimes it’s a nebula reshaped by the gravity of a neighboring star, folding and stretching like something alive. Other times, it’s a wasp queen laying eggs in the early light, doing what she must for the next generation. There’s beauty in both. You just have to slow down enough to notice.

That’s what led Marcin to astrophotography. And later, to macro.

He started small — literally — with a kid’s telescope made of plastic, the kind called “AstroCabinet 90.” But even back then, the goal was clear: look closer, aim higher. Today, his deep-sky mosaics show distant nebulas in rich, sharp detail. You could hang them on a wall and get lost for hours.

He’s always chasing the darkest skies he can find — to see what’s really out there. But even when he’s standing under the stars, he hasn’t forgotten the world beneath his feet. The tiny ones, the overlooked ones. The beetles, the spiders, the wasps. They’re just as full of mystery.

M16 Panorama by Marcin Hałaczkiewicz: Where Universe's Grandest Drama Unfolds

Transform your space into a window to infinity with this breathtaking cosmic masterpiece—a stunning panoramic capture that showcases the most legendary region of star formation ever photographed.

This extraordinary mosaic reveals the complete narrative of celestial birth and beauty, from the iconic Pillars of Creation to the radiant Swan H-Alpha region.

"This area might not be well accessible from Poland, but from Namibia it’s a whole different story. Seeing it in the zenith with the neighboring Milky Way’s jewels is a life-changing experience" - Marcin

A Cosmic Symphony in One Frame

This region of the sky offers so much beauty, it’s hard to choose where to point the camera.

So Marcin decided not to choose — he captured it all.

This stunning mosaic brings together some of the most iconic and breathtaking features of our galaxy: from the legendary Pillars of Creation, made famous by the Hubble Telescope, to the bright, energetic Swan Nebula, and further into vast star clouds and delicate blue reflection nebulae.

"Pillars of creation are one of the most known pictures of the cosmos. A picture that inspired generation(s) of people, including myself. Although when I’ve first spotted amateur astrophotography I thought it was computer generated or Hubble made" - Marcin

It’s a single image that celebrates the diversity and depth of our cosmic neighborhood.
