Logan Carpenter: Dragons - Unleash the Cosmic Battle of the Dragons!

Dive into the enchanting realm of the southern skies with a stunning Dragons print, featuring the breathtaking Fighting Dragons of Ara (NGC 6188).

This celestial masterpiece captures the fierce beauty of cosmic phenomena, showcasing not only NGC 6188 but also the captivating formations of NGC 6165 and NGC 61644, collectively known as the Dragon’s Egg.

The artwork is meticulously crafted using a blend of the SHO palette and HSO aesthetics, resulting in a vibrant and dynamic representation that tells a story of mythical beasts locked in an eternal battle. The contrasting colors and intricate details invite viewers to explore the depths of mysteries of Space and imagination

The majority of the image is in the SHO palette but as I prefer the HSO look of the Egg, the two versions were combined.

Transform your Space into a portal to the universe with this extraordinary piece. Whether you're a seasoned astronomer or a casual admirer of the night sky, this poster will captivate and inspire.

After 20 years of peering down a microscope as a Surgical Pathologist, Logan turned his gaze skyward, discovering a passion for astrophotography in 2019. He images the amazing Deep Sky objects of the Southern Hemisphere from his roll-off-roof observatory at home in New Zealand. More recently he has also been imaging with a rig in southern Spain to expand his reach into the Northern Hemisphere.

Logan collaborates with two international groups of amateur astrophotographers; one deticated to the searching for yet undiscovered nebulae; and the other group carrying out projects consisting of hundreds of hours of integration time to reveal hidden or rarely imaged features of known targets.
