He enjoys exploring still undiscovered areas of astrophotography and still looking for new challenges such as the photography of Venus sulfuric clouds, the Moon's mineral colors, colliding galaxies, Albert Einstein’s gravitational lensing and others. However, his greatest passion is the large-scale photography of the Solar System objects - planets, the Moon and our closest star - Sun (using a dedicated solar telescope). Łukasz is a laureate of many prestigious awards - including win in the category of "Planets, comets and asteroids" in the largest astrophotography competition in the world - "Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2020" and second place in the international competition Astrocamera 2020. His works are also regularly recognized as Image of the Day on Astrobin portal.
With over a decade of experience in amateur astronomy and night sky photography, Łukasz delights in exploring uncharted areas of astrophotography and embracing new challenges, such as capturing Venus's sulfuric clouds, the Moon's mineral colors, colliding galaxies, and gravitational lensing phenomena predicted by Albert Einstein.
