April 6, 2026. As Orion approached the far side of the Moon, just before all contact with Earth went silent, the Artemis II crew captured this: a crescent Earth sinking behind the lunar limb. Australia and Oceania are lit by daylight on the right. The rest of the planet is in darkness.

In the foreground, the Ohm crater dominates the lunar surface with its terraced edges, flat floor, and central peaks formed when the Moon's crust liquefied on impact and splashed upward. The edge of the Moon's visible surface, the lunar limb, appears as a sharp circular arc against the black of space.

April 6, 2026. As Orion approached the far side of the Moon, just before all contact with Earth went silent, the Artemis II crew captured this: a crescent Earth sinking behind the lunar limb. Australia and Oceania are lit by daylight on the right. The rest of the planet is in darkness.

In the foreground, the Ohm crater dominates the lunar surface with its terraced edges, flat floor, and central peaks formed when the Moon's crust liquefied on impact and splashed upward. This is one of the last things the crew saw before 40 minutes of radio silence on the far side. No downlink, no mission control. Just the view.

This image retains its original framing as captured aboard Orion. The visible grain is inherent to deep space photography conditions. We keep it as is. It's part of what makes this real.

Is this a real photograph?

Yes. Every image is original photography — NASA, ESA, Hubble and JWST archives, observatory data, or Adam’s own telescopes — faithfully remastered in our studio. Any visible grain is inherent to deep-space photography at extreme distance. We keep it, because it’s part of what makes the image real.

How long does delivery to the USA take?
