How we print

Made to order,
never off a shelf.

Every print is designed and remastered in our studio, then printed to order — either here, or at one of the local labs we work with, whichever sits closer to your address. Same files, same paper, same specification either way.

The file is the part we own Designed and remastered here, printed close to you

Large-format printers producing astronomy prints in the Astrography studio.

Design, remastering and proofing happen in our studio, on every print, wherever it ends up being made. That is the part that decides how a photograph looks on paper, and we do not hand it to anyone else.

Printing is either ours or a local lab in your region — whichever is closer to your address — working to the paper and profile we specify. Nothing is warehoused: a print starts life the day you order it, and a shorter journey to your door means less that can go wrong on the way.

Fine Art — matte, archival Museum paper, pigment inks, 200+ years

Giclée fine art pigment printers, the same class of machine used by galleries and museums, on premium archival paper. Superior colour accuracy and detail, a matte finish with no glare, and archival inks rated beyond 200 years.

This is the one to frame and keep. It is what we hang in our own studio.
