Orion Nebula Core (M42): Twenty Panel Mosaic (Visible Light-Infrared Composite) by Robert Gendler
This extraordinary image is a 20-frame mosaic blending data from the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) with infrared stars from the ESO Very Large Telescope (VLT). The infrared stars are mapped to the red and green channels, creating a stunning composite that reveals the dynamic core of the Orion Nebula (M42).
The Orion Nebula, one of the most photographed and studied celestial objects, comes to life in this composite image with vivid colors and remarkable detail. The nebula's gas clouds and star-forming regions are brilliantly captured, demonstrating the power of combining different wavelengths from advanced telescopes.
Perfect for astronomy lovers, star enthusiasts, and those fascinated by the mysteries of the universe, this print brings the mesmerizing core of the Orion Nebula into your home, office, or classroom.
