Bogdan Jarzyna, a Polish astrophotographer based in Cracow, has spent the last 15 years honing his skills in astrophotography. He has experimented with various optics, focal lengths, and apertures, and has embarked on astro travels to distant locations like Namibia. Currently, Bogdan's preferred setup comprises a TEC140 refractor, a QHY695A camera, and a Paramount MyT mount.

    This remarkable image captures a cloud of stars and dark interstellar dust obscuring the center of our galaxy. Among the cloud patterns, dark dust nebulae from Barnard's catalog appear, with the most fascinating being the Snake Nebula (B72) at the center of the frame.

    The intricate structures of dark nebulae such as B74 and B78 add depth and mystery to the scene, while to the left of the Snake Nebula, the orange-yellow globular cluster NGC 6355 can be spotted, enhancing the celestial tableau.
