Rod has also been awarded distinctions in prestigious competitions such APP, AstroCamera and the highly prestigious Astronomy Photographer of the Year (APY16). Notable work like “Eruption of Eternity” (Carina Nebula) is currently on display at the Royal Greenwich Museum in London.

    Rod is known for his innovative use of narrowband imaging, meticulous post-processing techniques, and a passion for pushing the limits of his equipment. His transition into using PixInsight marked a turning point in refining his skills, allowing him to create striking images with an emphasis on detail, color, and the hidden structures of deep space.
