Artist: Lukasz Sujka
With over a decade of experience in amateur astronomy and night sky photography, Łukasz delights in exploring uncharted areas of astrophotography and embracing new challenges, such as capturing Venus's sulfuric clouds, the Moon's mineral colors, colliding galaxies, and gravitational lensing phenomena predicted by Albert Einstein.
Łukasz's greatest passion lies in large-scale photography of Solar System objects, including planets, the Moon, and the Sun (using a dedicated solar telescope). His remarkable work has earned him numerous prestigious awards, such as winning the "Planets, Comets, and Asteroids" category in the world's largest astrophotography competition, "Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2020," and securing second place in the international Astrocamera 2020 contest. Additionally, his images are frequently recognized as Image of the Day on the Astrobin portal.
