Touch the Moon: Premiere of MoonPlate at Astrography

moonplate box

The momentous occasion has arrived—we are launching a completely new product at Astrography, and this time, it’s not "printed." Introducing MoonPlate, the Lunar Plate (though it doesn’t sound as grand in Polish). This will be a whole series, but of course, the first one had to feature the first human landing site on the Moon—Apollo 11 Landing Site.

This exceptional product is not available anywhere else in the world and allows you not only to see the cosmos but to touch it. The cement cast craters offer a spectacular lunar landscape with unprecedented detail. The model accurately reflects the actual terrain and is based on NASA's scientific data.

A must-have for every astronomy enthusiast

The premier limited series is highly exclusive, with only 50 pieces available, each signed and in a different edition from those that will be available in regular sales. We’re shipping 30 pieces immediately, and 20 in September. The entire series is hand-signed by the creator. If you want to grab one from this first series, I suggest you act quickly 😊

This is also the first product resulting from the teamwork at Astrography (rather than just my work as it used to be). Huge pride goes out to Michał Zduniak ❤.

MoonPlate: Humboldt Crater

Unlock the wonder of the cosmos with MoonPlate's realistic planetary relief prints. Touch and feel the lunar terrain like never before, and bring the universe's stunning beauty into your home.

This one-of-a-kind product allows you to not only see the Moon but also touch it. Made from precise cement casting, the Moon's craters are rendered in spectacular detail, reflecting actual terrain based on NASA data.

What Humboldt Crater is?

Humboldt Crater is a significant lunar impact site near the Moon's eastern edge. Spanning over 200 km, it features an intricate network of channels called rilles, revealing a complex geological history.

Spacecraft photography has provided valuable insights into the Moon's formation and evolution, highlighting features like Catena Humboldt, a chain of smaller craters extending from its northeast rim. Humboldt Crater remains a fascinating lunar landmark, showcasing the universe's power and beauty.
